[ 26/11/2025 – London] Record-breaking Premier League goalkeeper and Champions League winner, Petr Čech, has been announced as the latest international sporting legend to partner with EMW Global.
He joins a growing list of stars to join EMW Global, which includes former Ferrari F1 driver Felipe Massa, France’s all-time leading goal-scorer Olivier Giroud, Ballon d’Or winner and Liverpool hero Michael Owen, Inter Milan stalwart, El Capitán – Javier Zanetti and Springbok rugby sensation Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu.
Čech will work together with EMW Global to advance his post-playing career ambitions and to maximise brand and commercial opportunities in Asia.
Since retiring from professional football in 2019, the former Chelsea and Arsenal star has transitioned from being the last line of defence. He has worked behind the scenes with Chelsea’s sporting strategy team and is an MBA graduate from the Longford International College. His greatest passion since playing is leadership, with his advocacy shining through Glow21, a personal leadership development project designed to mentor rising leaders around the world.
EMW Global CEO and Founder, Michael Rocha-Keys said: “Petr Čech is a global icon and one of football’s all-time greats, it is a pleasure to welcome him to EMW Global. We’ve been very strategic about the talent we have partnered with as an agency; our focus is on quality rather quantity, we are passionate about working with clients who share the same vision and alignment with us. We look forward to a successful partnership as we work together to scale Petr’s ambitions globally.”
Čech’s iconic trademark headgear was synonymous with the game for over 20 years, an illustrious career with 443 Premier League appearances and a record 124 appearances for the Czech Republic.
His time at Chelsea and later Arsenal cemented his status as the most decorated goalkeeper in Premier League history, with some of his personal highlights including four golden glove awards (the most by any goalkeeper), the most clean sheets in Premier League history (202 and a record he still holds), the record for conceding the least amount of goals in one Premier League season (15) and the infamous penalty shootout save against Bayern Munich to hand Chelsea the Champions League title in 2012.
“Football has been my life for as long as I can remember, but since retiring as a player, I have been actively building a career outside of football with my agency, mostly in Europe, and I am delighted that the EMW Global team will be supporting me on this journey as well,” said Čech. “It’s a great opportunity for me to work with EMW Global’s vast international network and leverage their expertise in Asia, where I have many fans and where I want to be more active as I work to achieve my goals outside of football.”
Since launching in 2018, EMW Global has worked with more than 50 world-famous athletes including legendary footballers Messi and Neymar, as well as iconic football properties such as the Brazilian and Argentinian Football teams and the CONMEBOL COPA América (formerly Americas Cup).
