Crypto casino brand, 500 Casino, has signed Brazilian UFC fighter, Paulo Costa to be their brand ambassador who is represented by EMW Global.
The new partnership is aimed at growing 500 Casino’s brand awareness, as well as its client base, in Brazil by signing one of the country’s most popular names in UFC. MMA, and the UFC in particular, is among the most popular sports in Brazil, often drawing in six and even seven-figure numbers in viewership.
With Brazil also looking at new gambling legislation, 500 Casino will have plenty of potential to grow in an expanding market.
Paulo Costa, also known by his nickname “The Eraser”, is a light heavyweight fighter from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. The Eraser owns a 14-2 record in his MMA career. He signed with the UFC in 2017, four years after taking part in the reality show The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3. The Brazilian owns a 6-2 record in the UFC.
Having just signed a contract extension with the UFC, Paulo Costa has an upcoming fight in October. The Eraser will face off against Khamzat Chimaev in Abu Dhabi. The winner could potentially challenge for the light heavyweight belt, recently vacated.
